Elson, Assi

Assi was born on May 20, 1969 in Ramat Gan, where he studied at the “Biluim” elementary school and completed high school in the ORT school, and after completing his studies, Assi enlisted in the IDF and served in the Paratroopers Brigade. During his military service, he underwent a commanding course for noncoms and an undercover course. After his discharge from the army, he worked for a while in an electronics factory, in a restaurant and even tried to open a clothing business. In 1996 Assi decided to enlist in the Israel Police and served as a detective in the Dan region. Sergeant Asi was killed during his service on the 19th of Tammuz 5759 (3.7.1999). Thirty years old. He was buried in the cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, Tel Aviv.
