Elishiv, Yoram


Son of Yaakov and Hamda. One of the founders of Kibbutz Beit Oren. He was born on the 14th of Tevet, 5704 (14.12.1942) in the kibbutz, where he grew up and was educated in elementary and high school until he graduated from elementary school, while he was a modest and sensitive child, but his extra sensitivity was most evident when he discovered an unjust injury to one of the class’s children He worked as an agricultural farmer in the banana industry and during his free time he listened to music (mostly classical) and played the flute, and he was diligent and diligent in his work and studies. In his room he was an artist, and despite the burden of study and work, he did not allow the playing He was always kind and charming, and he greeted every adult with respect and respect, and he was kind and willing to give his help to others, he showed great love for the kibbutz movement and the youth he grew up in. In August 1961 he was drafted into the IDF and volunteered for the Paratroopers. In the booklet “Who Fell in the War” by Hakibbutz Hameuchad, his memory was mentioned, and in the “Gogli Esh”, Volume IV, the library of the estates of the fallen sons of Israel, was brought from his estate. During a debriefing in 2017, it was updated that the Citation of the Brigade Commander was converted into a masterpiece.
