Elisha, Yigal

Yigal, son of Bilha and Jack Elisha, was born in 1967 in Moshav Ranan in the Negev. After graduating Yigal enlisted in the IDF and served in the Armored Corps, and in 1987 Yigal joined the Israel Police and served for twenty-two years in a variety of positions. On July 1, 2009 Yigal was killed during a police unit training. He was buried in the Be’er Sheva cemetery.
