Rafi studied at the “Habanim” elementary school in the city and discovered sports tendencies. For years he played table tennis and even participated in the country championship in this industry. He continued his studies at the ORT College of Technology and Science, and successfully completed as an aircraft mechanic. Raphi was a clever, smiling and charming guy with a developed sense of humor, loved and accepted by all his many friends. He has a special gift for helping others and giving himself to others. He was energetic and energetic, very diligent and with excellent workmanship. From an early age he combined work with study and discovered responsibility and independence. His many hobbies taught him about his love for life: Rafi liked music on every face and tone and played the guitar; He read a lot of books in various fields and especially liked to spend time with friends at parties and celebrations. He planned to enjoy his great love for nature in Israel and abroad. Rafi joined the IDF in early October 1997. He served in the Armored Corps for two and a half years, serving in a car workshop at the Armaments Base in Beit El, and fulfilled his duties with devotion, as testified by his commander in a letter to the family: “Rafi worked very diligently and performed the tasks he was entrusted with, And to the full satisfaction of his commanders. Rafi Eldan fell during his service on July 29, 2000, at the age of 22.
