Son of Yosef and Esther. He was born on September 12, 1933 in Bedzin, Poland. He immigrated to Israel in 1934. He graduated from Tachkemoni School. As an outstanding student, he was given a Stefandia for all his years of high school. He entered the religious high school in Tel Aviv. However, because of his activities in the Gadna, when he was in the sixth grade during the War of Independence, he stopped his studies at the end of the year and moved to the self-rule department of the Ministry of the Interior. Was drafted into the IDF in July 1951. After rejecting various positions, which seemed too easy, he was transferred to a reconnaissance unit, and in a short period he became a model combat soldier. He fell in battle with the National Guard and legion during a patrol near the Jordanian police station in Arlandal, about 15 kilometers east of Yotvata.
