Eizenman, Moshe (Marko)

Moshe, son of Julius and Rachel Eizenman, was born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1934. In 1946, his family tried immigrating to Israel illegally, and his father became ill on the way, in Italy, with pneumonia. So Moshe continued on to Israel with his mother. Their ship was caught and taken to Cyprus, where they spent sixteen months. Meanwhile, his father recovered and eight months later he also arrived in Cyprus. In 1948, Moshe finally immigrated to Israel. He enlisted in the IDF, and died of an illness on the 12th of Tamuz (2.7.1955). He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
