Eisenberg, Moshe
Son of David, was born in 1912. He was a resident of Tel Aviv and worked as a clerk in the port. During the War of Independence he was the secretary of the Tel Hai district. He served in the Oded Brigade. On June 13, 1948, he was mortally wounded when he joined a convoy that was traveling from Kibbutz Dafna to the area where his comrades were fighting. The convoy was shelled by the Syrians in violation of the cease-fire during the first truce. He was taken to a hospital in Safed, where he passed away on Friday, June 13, 1948. Moshe was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Kfar Giladi
