Eini, Nissim (“Naji”)
Son of Menashe and Tsalcha. He was born on June 5, 1929, in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. When he reached the age of 15, he was forced to leave school because there was no one to support his widowed mother and his two brothers when he came to serve in the army ,he left his family and immigrated to Israel (the family immigrated a year after his immigration) He worked for Kibbutz Be’erot-Yitzhak for six months and was later drafted into the IDF. On the 28th of Nisan 5711 (4.5.1951), he fell in a battle of the Jordan River near the Sea of Galilee and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa.
