Einchi, Carmel (Yehezkel)

Son of Haviva and Gurji, was born in 1929 in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. He studied in high school and specialized in the art of coating glass. Yehezkel immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1947, was accepted to Kibbutz Ein Harod and stayed there until he joined the Palmach, and was a quiet, good-hearted and outstanding young man who had fallen in combat in the Latrun area on July 17, 1948. On the 11th of Adar 5702 (28.2.1950) he was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
