Ben Valentina and Leonid. He was born on the 26th of Sivan 5707 (6.6.1975) in Astana, Kazakhstan. He attended schools in his hometown and was accepted to the Technological College. In 1994 he completed his studies and received the degree of “Software Engineer”. In 1995 Sergey immigrated to Israel with his parents and his younger sister, Olisia. Until his enlistment he worked. Sergey was gifted with impressive artistic skills. He liked to paint and used to design a face from people – family, friends and famous people. He also loved music very much. Sergey was proud to serve in the Israel Defense Forces and enjoyed the service and the military profession he acquired from the army. . He was an open, sensitive man who easily connected with people, surrounded by friends who loved him very much for his kindness and good qualities. He was very attached to his sister, and devoted to his parents. Sergeant Einbinder fell during his service on July 8, 2000 in a car accident near the Haemek Hospital in Afula, a week before his release from the IDF. He was twenty-five when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Afula. Survived by parents and sister. In his letter of consolation to the bereaved family, Col. Moshe Nidam, commander of the unit, wrote: “Sergey came to my unit two years ago and was assigned to the unit’s kitchen as a cook, while Sergei was meticulous in carrying out his work admirably. His duties in the most professional way, and to be a good friend in difficult and good moments, to collect his friends in times of difficulty and pressure, to replace a friend when needed, to contribute himself to friends, to work and to the army, and to be proud of it. Who contributed to the kitchen of the unit, a great and complex work, which S. demanded Sergey did not complain and did not reveal the conditions of absorption that he was dealing with, and Sergei’s personality and ways serve as a role model for the department and the unit, and he certainly deserves this honor. “
