He was buried in the military cemetery in Haifa and was later transferred to eternal rest in the cemetery in Rishon Letzion. During his service, he performed every task with full understanding and with his human attitude to his subordinates, he knew how to get them to do the maximum. Shaul received a commendation for the manner in which his job was carried out, for the commander of his brigade, who recommended so much, appreciated his courage and devotion to the cause.
