Efron, (Bleiman), Moshe (“Musa”),
Son of Binyamin and Miriam. He was born on January 20, 1929, in Kfar Ganim, near Petah Tikva, where he spent his childhood in Kfar Azar. After completing his studies at the Kaduri agricultural school he joined the Palmach and participated in the War of Independence, was a member of Kibbutz Yizrael and was drafted into the IDF in June 1951. He attained the rank of major. He fell in battle for Husan on the 26th of Tishrei 5769 (26.9.1956) and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Petah Tikva. He left a wife and two daughters. His memory was mentioned in Uri Milstein’s book “Wars of the Paratroopers,” and in Baruch Oren’s book “The Stories of the Sons of the Force.”
