Ediz, Jacob (“Nico”)

Son of Yitzhak and Yonah. Born on June 15, 1937 in the town of Pristina, Yugoslavia, he immigrated to Israel in 1949. His father, who lived in Moshav Kidron, was supported by the son who worked and studied the mechanic profession in the garage. Was wounded during the course of his duty and on August 19, 1955, died of his wounds. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Moshav Kidron. His memory was mentioned in the book “The Paratroop Wars” by Uri Milstein.
