Earl, Shmuel (Sammy)
Son of Hadassah and Natan was born on April 7, 1964 in Haifa. Shmuel, who was called by Sami, studied at the “Aliya” elementary school in Daughter of Galim. He studied in the agricultural school in Kfar Galim, in a humanistic track, in high school and high school. A good but mischievous student was Sami, loved by his classmates and teachers. Sami was the youngest in his parents’ house, yet very independent and helpful to his family. He paid homage to his father, who traveled extensively, and loved his mother very much. His nephews always expected for a moment to come, to make them laugh, and to do them order exercises. The sense of humor was a very special feature for him, a little cynical, but very amusing. He spent most of his free time reading books, especially science fiction books, but also books that were not too long. But it was the music that swept him. Sami used to listen to and enjoy many hours of contemporary music. At the beginning of August 1982, Shmuel was drafted into the IDF and assigned to the Golani Brigade, and after completing his basic training, he took a paramedic course, and when he was promoted to the rank of commander of a class, he treated his friends whenever necessary and served them as a devoted and cold-blooded company medic during training and during an encounter with terrorists in Lebanon. (29.3.1984) Shmuel fell in the line of duty and was put to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa, where he was 20 years old when he fell, leaving behind his parents, brother and two sisters, his memory was immortalized in the Sephardic synagogue in Daughter of Galim, Haifa
