Dvir, Noam
Noam, Ben Rina and Amos, was born on October 6, 1950, in Haifa and completed his elementary and high school studies in Givatayim. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the IDF (end of October 1968) and volunteered to serve in the Armored Corps, where he took courses in tank commanders, battalion officers, armor officers, and company commanders. Noam served in the Armored Corps battalion as a platoon commander, deputy commander, and near the outbreak of the Yom Kippur War, he was appointed commander of a company in the same battalion, and at the end of October 1970 Noam moved to the regular army. It was not until March 1974 that hopes faded and the family realized that Noam had fallen in battle. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. After his fall, he was promoted to captain.
