Drucker, Oleg
Ben Rosalia and Alexander. He was born on the 24th of Av 5736 (24.8.1976) in Nikolaev, Ukraine, the only son of his parents. An active child full of joy. Oleg attended school in his hometown. He loved sports very much and discovered artistic talents: a wonderful painter, an accordion player, a guitarist and an outstanding musician. At the age of fifteen, Oleg was accepted to a technological college and trained as an assistant to a mechanical engineer. In addition to his studies at the college he completed a driving course in a truck and worked for a year in the field. In 1996 Oleg and his mother immigrated to Israel and lived in Yeruham. Oleg studied Hebrew in the ulpan and spent half a year living in a kibbutz in the center of the country. He then returned to Yeruham and worked for about a year at the Kitan factory in Dimona. In April 1998, Oleg enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and after completing his basic training he became a warehousekeeper in the Ordnance Corps, and on October 12, 1999, Oleg fell during his service at the age of twenty-three. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Yeruham cemetery. Survived by a mother.
