Drori, Yekutiel

Yekutiel (Kuti), Ben Jonah and Abraham, was born on December 24, 1949 in Bnei Brak, When he was 23, about half a year before he fell in combat, he traveled abroad to his cousin’s wedding, and used his stay there for trips throughout the United States and Europe. His parents testify that, with all his pleasure from the trip, he was not Simcha when he returned to Israel. When the Yom Kippur War broke out, Kuti was found with his unit in a camp in the Golan Heights. On the 7th of Tishrei 5740 (October 7, 1973), he was wounded in the battle in the vicinity of the camp. At first his body was not found and he was declared missing and then disappeared. On 4 March 1974, his parents were informed of the discovery of his body, and he was brought to eternal rest in a grave in the Mount Herzl cemetery in Jerusalem. Survived by his father, mother and two brothers. After his fall, he was promoted to corporal. In Alomot, a member of the Alumim group, his friend wrote: “… Kuti was one of these: on the one hand, the joy of life, joy at parties and celebrations, joy at weddings and other Simcha occasions, His formal membership in the group did not prevent him from becoming involved in her life, to be one of her in every way and in every way. “
