Drori (Liberman), Shimon (Haim)
Son of-Rachel and Meir Lieberman. Shimon was born in the Czech Republic on October 5, 1932. He immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1934 with his traditional family of five parents. Shimon attended the “Tachkemoni” school in his Haifa town and at the Tiferet Israel Yeshiva, where he changed his surname to Drori, and when he was sixteen, Shimon persuaded his parents to sign for him and joined the Palmach. He was born in 1954. In 1954, his son, Michael David, was born, and his daughter was born in 1959. Shimon enlisted in the Israel Police and served as a researcher, To special positions – intelligence). This combination led to the construction of his home and nurturing it with his own hands. Sergeant Simeon fell ill with a malignant disease in which he fought for about four years. During which he added the name Chaim. He fell during his service on the 17th of Tammuz 5738 (17.7.1978). Forty-six years old. Shimon was buried in the Haifa cemetery. Survived by wife, son and daughter, father, brother and three sisters.
