Born in Tripoli, Libya, immigrated to Israel with his family in 1949. He completed his studies at an elementary school in Rehovot and went to work to help his father He worked as a construction engineer and worked as a building carpenter in July 1962, but was discharged from active service and assigned to reserve forces. He served first in the Air Force and even took a course in the Civil Defense Corps, and was later transferred to the Artillery Corps, was assigned to an artillery battalion, and was a gunner with an artillery battery, and he married Dalia and the couple established their home in Petah Tikva. On May 16, 1981, during his reserve duty, Haim fell to the army cemetery at Petah Tikva, where he was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Petach Tikva, Tikva, left a wife and three sons, parents, two sisters, etc. In a letter of condolence to the grieving family, his commander wrote: “Haim was a good and devoted soldier and loved his comrades and commanders. He was gentle and willing to carry out any task assigned to him and to help each of his friends. Was quiet and timid and his sudden death left an empty space in our unit. “
