Moshe, son of Frida and Abraham, was born on 30 October 1954. He studied at the Ma’anit elementary school, where he excelled as a diligent and intelligent student who loved his studies and was kind to his teachers and friends. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed youth movement and had many friends there, by nature he was optimistic and cheerful and always willing to help others He was a very devoted son to his parents and cared for his family, As an organizer and performer of various social activities, Moshe was also known for his industriousness, devotion and responsibility . His mark was overflowing with joy and that infected everyone around him. Moses was drafted into the IDF in mid-February 1973 and volunteered for the paratroopers corps. After completing basic training, he was sent to one of the paratroop units in the central region. He was an excellent soldier and his commander in the army praised him before the soldiers of the unit for his diligence, dedication and responsibility in carrying out his duties. He was not Simcha with him when they informed him that he had been accepted into the paratroopers. He told his parents and friends about travel and training, but never complained about difficulties. He kept in touch with his parents and used to spend all the vacations he had received from the army. During the Yom Kippur War, he participated with the members of his unit in the fierce battles and incursions against the Egyptians in the Sinai region. On the 17th of Tishrei 5734 (17.10.1973), in the battle that took place in the “Chinese farm” area, Moshe was hit by the shelling and killed. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. After his fall, he was promoted to corporal.
