Domi (Domashvitzky), Chaim


Son of Hayna and Shimon, was born on December 3, 1928 in Kiryat Haim, whose parents were among its founders. On February 1, 1948 Chaim was drafted into regular service. He participated in the battles of the War of Independence and in the besieged Negev desert, and in the Operation Yoav was wounded. He served during the Yom Kippur War. On March 18, 1981, Brigadier General Chaim Domi fell in his service and was buried in the military cemetery in Haifa. He left his mother, daughter and sister.
