Doek, Eliyahu

Son of Haim and Adela. He was born on the 18th of Adar, 5635 (18.3.1935) in Alexandria, Egypt. He attended elementary school there, but because of his immigration to Israel in 1949, he did not complete his studies. When he arrived in Israel, he entered the son of Shemen Youth Village. He was part of the Hanoar Haoved movement. He specialized in welding. Was drafted into the IDF in April 1953. Three months later, on the 17th of Av 5713 (17.7.1953), he died and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
