On his last journey he traveled with the intention of examining what was missing for those lone soldiers, sitting so farWreck against desolation, mountains and snowstorms. In this he saw the concern for the individual. How can we comfort you with parents, a wife and a little daughter? Perhaps by meriting a friend and an officer like him, who with his knowledge and experience in education, with a pleasant approach to each of us and with his smile, serenity around him. “
