Dochen, Joseph (“Yossi”)
Son of Moshe and Sa’ada. He was born on February 2, 1948, in Yemen. The family immigrated to Israel in 1949. When Yosef reached school, he began studying at the religious elementary school in Tel Mond. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement and was active in the movement’s club. Tappen was according to his profession. In February 1966 he was drafted into the IDF and still in regular service, the Six-Day War, in which he took part, he fell on the 4th of Shevat, 5728 (February 4, 1968) while serving in the Golan Heights. He was laid to rest at the cemetery in Tel Mond.
