Son of Nissan and Ethel. Was born on December 22, 1935 in the city of TianZin in China. He began his studies at an elementary school there, and after the family immigrated to Israel in 1949, he continued to study in Degania Alef in the framework of Youth Aliyah and completed his studies in ten classes. He later worked as a mechanic at the power plant in Haifa. He was drafted into the IDF in August 1953. After his discharge from regular army service, he went on reserve duty and fell during his duty on Thursday, July 22, 1958, and was brought to eternal rest in the Hadera cemetery
