Disloya, Dina


Rachel and Yoel’s eldest daughter, was born on the 3rd of Sivan 5723 (June 3, 1963) in Ashkelon. Dina studied at the Katznelson Elementary School, and completed her high school studies at the ORT vocational school. Before she was drafted, Dina spent three weeks in her father’s hometown in Italy. Dina was drafted into the IDF at the end of October 1981, and after basic training she was placed in an IAF liaison unit, and Dina quickly acclimated herself to the new environment and acquired friends and acquaintances. When she was forced, because of the problems of having to move from one office to another, with all the inconveniences involved: new commanders and work arrangements and friends, she accepted everything with a smile and a good spirit.
