Dishel, Shmuel

He was a member of the HeChalutz movement in his city and joined the Zionist pioneering training commune (kibbutz hachshara) in Kossowa in 1943. He joined Kibbutz Yagur and was a member of the Haganah. On April 6, 1931, when he returned with his friends from a night walk near the entrance to the kibbutz, they were shot in an ambush and were killed on the spot. He was buried together with the two other victims in a mass grave in the old cemetery in Yagur.
