Dimerman, Meir


Son of Hannah and Jacob was born on the 5th of Adar 5705 in Eretz Israel when he was a year old and was forced to leave the country for the purpose of climate change. In 1947 he immigrated to Israel via Cyprus and was accepted by the Kinneret group. Where he stayed for about a year and worked in agricultural machinery. In the Kinneret group he liked the members, was polite and gentle with people. Always select the hardest job. Three times he was chosen to be the work sorter and took part in every cultural activity. Influenced by work and society, he recovered from his hardships, and his joy increased when he learned that his mother and brother had left Russia and were about to arrive. On the 11th of Iyar 5708 (May 20, 1948) the Kinneret farm was severely shelled. Meir, who was on a mission to deliver bread to the positions, was hit by a shell and fell. He was brought to rest in the Kinneret cemetery.
