Dimenstein, David


Son of Yeshayahu and Ruth. He was born on March 12, 1942 in Kibbutz Ayelet Hashachar. In 1952 the family moved to Kibbutz Hagoshrim where he continued his studies in elementary school. Afterward, he studied at Kibbutz Dafna and spent the last year of the following classes with his class in Ein Harod (Meuhad). He worked in agriculture. He belonged to the HaNoar HaOved movement, HaPoel and the Kibbutzim Brigade. From his youth he had a serious attitude toward security problems. He was a lover of nature, sports, hunting and touring. Was drafted into the IDF in November 1960. He was a trainee in a paratroop school and fell during his duties on the 6 th of Elul 5721 (18.8.1961) and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in the Hagoshrim farm.
