Son of Shmuel and Zehava, members of Kibbutz Yifat. He was born on the 24th of March, 1937 in Gat-Rimon. On the occasion of his fifth birthday, the family moved to Gvat, and thanks to his quickness and alertness, he was soon absorbed among the local children. In time he became the living spirit among his classmates and companions. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement. But for every job he would take seriousness and responsibility. He was interested and dedicated to the pigeon-pigeon, but mostly he gave his attention to the sheep pen and sent his hand to all the works in it, because he loved the lambs and the sheep very much And dealt with them with perseverance with all his Lev and soul, and with the understanding and knowledge he gradually acquired in this industry. But at the age of 8, he went on a different course: he joined the Gadna-Air and began to continue building models and preparing various models, and worked constantly and without fatigue in developing and improving them. , After experiencing the flight. Demanded that his parents sign a letter of agreement to continue his flight, because he wanted to be a pilot. In 1954, the family left Gvat and moved to Yifat and the school where Avigdor graduated. In August 1956, he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Israel Air Force, and after a while he received the wings of parachuting and flying, and after a short vacation he moved to his beloved Negev, where he entered a new course in a modern airplane. He was killed and brought to rest in the cemetery in Yifat, where he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant, and a booklet was published in his memory by Yifat, in which he was named by the Ministry of Education and the Agricultural Workers’ Union.
