Dex, Pinchas

Son of Dina and David. He was born on February 2, 1909, in the town of Rawa-Rusca in Galicia. In his town, he studied at the “Tarbut” school and from his youth he received a Zionist and traditional education. He immigrated to Israel in 1929 and joined his friends in the “Gordonia” group in Hadera. He joined the Haganah and took part in shooting training. On the 9th of Tishrei (29.9.1933), Pinchas was accidentally shot and died. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Givat Shomron.
