Deri (Dror), Yaakov

Son of Masoud and Leah. He was born in the Old City of Jerusalem on August 9, 1935. His father was a rabbi of the Mughrabi community, he studied in an elementary school in the Old City and after his mother’s death he was in the Spanish orphanage, And was there until the day of his enlistment in the IDF in May 1953. On the 16th of Sivan 5714 (16.6.1954) he died and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
