Dan (Danny), son of Tova and Yair z “l, was born on the 6th of Iyar 5708 (June 6, 1948) in Kfar Saba, where he studied at the” Yogev “elementary school in Moshav Yogev and continued his studies at the” Havat Limmud ” Where he studied in the biological track, but left before completing his studies and went on to study at the teachers’ seminary in Nahalal, where he was a good-hearted, intelligent and diligent man, and all his teachers and friends admired him. In his teens he was a youth counselor, and even then he contributed greatly to the cultural life of the village, and he was a good guide to his students and they loved him very much. A Yaffa and Yaffa gathering, he decorated it with bright posters and charming paintings, and the summer vacation camps he took part in were among the most cheerful and Yaffa. But he especially loved playing the guitar, flute, and harmonica. He was talented, sensitive and had an excellent sense of rhythm, good hearing and music love. Danny excelled in openness, tolerant attitude and sympathetic to people and human love in general. Not surprisingly, he chose to study. He studied for three years at the Nahalal Teachers’ College after completing his studies and was sent to Tiberias for a teaching year. He returned to a village full of plans and took an active part in the youth committee and the cultural committee in the moshav. He was also very successful in his activities on behalf of the youth in the Ta’anach district. Danny was drafted into the IDF in April 1967.
