Dedshov, Aharon


Son of Naomi and Yehoshua, was born on September 15, 1927 in Tel Aviv. He studied at the Bialik School and later studied mechanics. He even helped his father work in his coffee shop. Aharon joined the Palmach in the month of Adar 5708; He underwent training at Moshav Herut in the Sharon region. According to the testimony of his commanders, he excelled in his serious attitude to his position and with remarkable calm, and it became clear immediately that he was an excellent soldier. Aharon participated in Operation Nachshon for the breakthrough to Jerusalem and the battles inside Jerusalem and was one of the best fighters in his department. On the 29th of Nissan 5708 (29.4.1948) he fell in battle for Katamon and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Sanhedria in Jerusalem.
