Shortly after arriving, he went to study Hebrew in an ulpan on Kibbutz Baram in northern Israel. After finishing the ulpan he returned home and decided that he wanted to study at the IAF Technological College in Haifa. He was admitted to the university and began his training course in aeronautical engineering. About a year after their arrival in Israel, Eddie’s father was killed in a work accident. Eddie showed maturity and the ability to cope with the heavy loss and continued his studies at the technical school. At the end of two years, he completed his studies and won the prestigious title of Aeronautical Engineer. At the end of February 1993, he enlisted in the IAF and, after basic training, underwent an F-16 jet mechanic course. At the end of the course he was placed in the Air Maintenance Unit (IAA 22) at the Tel Nof base – a unit that supports the IAF’s operational system, maintains and develops aircraft, weapons systems and planning, control and control systems. , And was considered one of the best F-16s in the garage, and his commanders were impressed by his high abilities, his functioning and his pleasant personality, and saw him as a role model worthy of emulation.Addi loved everyone around him and received respect and appreciation from his friends.In late September 1996, At the end of two and a half years of exemplary service and to the satisfaction of the commanders, Eddie entered the career army You have attained the rank of master sergeant serving.
