David, Yitzhak (Modfer)

Yitzhak, son of Shlomo and Ora David, was born in 1947 in the city of Mosu, Iraq, and his family worked hard to establish a Jewish community in Mosul and to encourage them to immigrate to Israel. In 1950, the family immigrated to Israel. Yitzhak worked as a mechanic. He was very kind to people and always willing to serve in responsible positions. He was drafted into the IDF in February 1965. On 26 Cheshvan, November 26, 1966, he fell in the line of duty and was buried in the military cemetery in Haifa.
