David, Ovadia

Son of Eliyahu and Nazima. He was born in 1942 in the city of Zaru in Iraq and immigrated to Israel in 1951. He attended elementary and high school, and later in the Lifshitz Teachers’ Seminary, with literary leanings and a hand in writing. 1962. On April 1, 1964, he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
