Son of Dina and Yahya Zechariah. David was born on March 29, 1951, in the settlement of Peer Am, son of parents from Yemen. In 1956 he moved with his parents to live in the village of Yavetz in the Sharon, where he grew up and was educated. He completed his regular service in the Armored Corps, and during the Yom Kippur War he fought in the Sinai as a tank commander, and was even wounded during the war.In 1980, David married Shifra, Lived in the village of Yavetz and had four children: David was a charming, ambitious and punctual man, a man who was always surrounded by friends, pleasant and pleasant, always attentive, with an extended hand to help others. In 1986 David enlisted in the Border Police as a regular security coordinator in the village of Yavetz in the Sharon region. The village, like all other settlements in the area, suffered from agricultural property offenses. David worked hard and diligently day and night to prevent this and to catch the perpetrators and bring them to justice. In December 1996, David underwent an operation due to illness, and for two and a half years he fought hard on this disease, but on Sunday, 20.5.1999, he died. In the cemetery in Tel Mond, he left a wife and four children.
