David, Avi

Avi, the son of Liliana and Izo David, was born in Ashdod on August 6, 1970. In 1989, Avi enlisted in the IDF. He served in the Ordnance Corps, completed an officer’s course, and at the end of compulsory service he continued to serve in the IDF. Avi fell in the line of duty on 29 Kislev, December 21, 2014. He was forty-four years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Modi’in cemetery. Survived by his wife, son and two daughters, parents and two sisters.
