Dashevsky-Dashu, Daniel (Danny)


The son-in-law of Slavia and Hermann. He was born in the industrial city of Ulyanda in Argentina since his early childhood, and was able to answer his questions with astonishing speed and understanding, and when he immigrated to Israel in 1971, Sheva, continued his studies at the Maoz, Nitzanim and Tomer schools. He was among the outstanding students, and very diligent despite his mischievous behavior. In order to curb him somewhat and to acquire a profession for life, his parents enrolled him in the Air Force Technical School in Be’er Sheva. Here too he excelled in his studies, read many books on various subjects and even encyclopedias. He had a wonderful memory. Danny liked to hear music in all its forms and colors, and he had an extraordinary sense of hearing. Danny loved sports, especially soccer, and was a fan of the Hapoel Beer Sheva soccer team. He completed his studies in a professional course at the Air Force Technical School in Haifa. Daniel was drafted into the IDF in July 1982 and was assigned as an aircraft technician in an Air Force unit, and underwent various courses, such as a driving course, a squadron course, a course for a jet mechanic, At the end of three years of compulsory service, Daniel agreed to the pleas of his commanders and signed a permanent service. On September 24, 1985, Sergeant Daniel fell in the army cemetery in Be’er Sheva, leaving two parents, two brothers and a sister – Alex, Miri and Ronen – in a letter of condolence to the grieving family, Daniel noted that Daniel “was a disciplined, serious soldier, an excellent professional and his friends”
