Son of-Rachel and Meir-David, was born in 1910 in Sighet, Romania. He received a popular education and was a tailor according to his profession. He had a constant desire to immigrate to Israel, and after he managed to save himself during the terrible years, he immigrated to Israel in 1946 to join the defenders. He joined the Palmach and joined the Palmach Regiment in the Harel Brigade, and Eliahu participated in the battles in the Jerusalem corridor and in the Latrun area, and Eliyahu, who never served in the army abroad, was a very good soldier.
