Darchuk, Valerie

Son of Svetlana and Yevgeny. Born in Russia on the 6th of Cheshvan, October 29, 1987. In May, 1999, when he was eleven and a half years old, he immigrated to Israel with his mother and sister. He joined the IDF in November 2005 and served in the Logistics Corps. Sergeant Valery fell during his service on the 12nd of Cheshvan, November 8, 2009, while serving in reserve duty. He was twenty two years old. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Ashkelon. He was survived by his parents and sister.
