Daniel, Shlomo
Son of Pasha and Hannah. He was born on February 2, 1955 in Jerusalem and attended the Chabad elementary school in the city. After that he completed his studies at the Ironi C high school in the mechanical-mechanical program. Shlomo was a diligent and responsible boy. He devoted great efforts to his studies and successfully completed his hard exams. After graduating from high school, he completed his professional training course in the metal industry at Technikum in the Kfar Citrin Yeshiva and completed with great success. He loved his profession and hoped he could engage in it even in the framework of his military service. Was a member of a multi-children family and learned to share everything he had with those around him, to help everyone in need. Was a devoted and loyal son to his parents, who helped them with the housework and the education of his brothers and sisters. Shlomo was drafted into the IDF in February 1974. After basic training, he was sent to a professional course in the company of a national company, and successfully completed his service in order to continue to help his parents, but his request was not given to him. In the unit’s life, he acquired the trust of his commanders: “From the very beginning of his career in the unit, taking part in the course, Shlomo tried to succeed and advance, and indeed completed the course with a good grade. Later, while serving in the Tzemach region, he captivated the hearts of his comrades – the soldiers and the commanders – with his kindness, sincerity, and strong desire to help others at the same time. On July 30, 1974, Shlomo was killed in the military cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, leaving behind his parents, six brothers and two sisters .
