Daniel, Daniel
Son of Avraham and Sarah. He was born on the 11th of Sivan 5706 (June 1, 1955) in Tiberias. He attended the Kol Israel Haverim elementary school in the city. Afterward he studied at the Ehrlich elementary school in Tiberias and completed his studies at the local high school. Daniel was a diligent and talented student and was very successful in his studies. His teachers and teachers loved him. He was acceptable to his classmates. After completing his studies, he was impatient to enlist in the IDF and volunteered to serve in a combat unit, and was drafted into the IDF in August 1973 and assigned to the infantry. After basic training, he was trained in a paramedics course and a parachuting course, and was assigned to serve in a paratroop battalion in northern Israel. On April 27, 1974, Daniel fell in battle on Mount Hermon from the enemy’s shelling. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Tiberias. His family published a memorial booklet in his memory, including the words of his friends and relatives, and his character.
