Dalal, Yaakov (‘Kobi’)

Ben Shaul and Victoria. He was born in Rosh HaShana, 5714 (10.9.1953) in Nes Tziona At the beginning of October 1971, Kobi was drafted into the IDF and assigned as a driver to the Medical Corps, and underwent a paramedics course, as well as a course for a half-tracks driver and a mobile fueling course. He rose to the ranks, and in November 1973 he was awarded the rank of sergeant. This was after taking part in the Yom Kippur War on the northern front. About a month before his discharge from the military service, on July 19, 1974, Kobi fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Nes Ziona. Survived by his parents, brothers and sisters.
