Dalal, Shulamit (“Shula”)

Daughter of Shimon and flourished. She was born on July 30, 1952 in Haifa and studied at the “HaGivah” elementary school in the Carmel highlands and at the “Ibn Pina” High School in Haifa, and Shulamit preferred the yeshiva to the family. She was drafted into the IDF in May 1971 and served in the Intelligence Corps and after a while moved to serve in an air force operational base. One day, on her way to the base, she was injured in a car accident and was hospitalized. Shlomit had been in the hospital for ten months. Although her body was mortally wounded, she made great efforts to stay alive, but she could not. On the 20th of Cheshvan 5733 (2 November 1972) she died. She was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
