Dahbash, Shmuel
Son of Sarah and Tzadok. He was born in 1918 in Breda, in Yemen, and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1922. His family settled in Tel Aviv and Shmuel was sent to study at the Talmud Torah elementary school, after which he wanted to work in agriculture, He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved youth movement and was active in sports, running and horseback riding, and since he was a naturalist he used to travel long distances in Israel and abroad. From time to time he would return to his parents’ home, spend some time with them, then return to wander in 1940 He was sent to Greece where he was captured by the Germans, and on May 28, 1941, he was taken prisoner in Kalamata, Greece, injured in an accident and killed.
