Dahan, Shlomo


Shlomo-Salomon (Sami), son of Esther and Shimon, was born on 29.10.1945 in Marrakech, Morocco, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1949 Shlomo was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early February 1963 and assigned to the Golani Brigade, where he served as a good soldier, loyal and devoted to his job. After his discharge from the regular service, he served in the Israel Police, and his superiors praised him for his diligence, his perseverance, his energy and his responsible attitude to any role he had been entrusted with. Shlomo was hit and killed in a shell that hit the house directly At the outpost. At first, he was considered missing. and then was declared whose burial place was unknown. In March 1977, the Egyptians returned nine bodies, including Shlomo’s. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl. He left behind a wife, son, and daughter, father, mother, brother and five sisters. After his fall, he was promoted to sergeant.
