Dagani, Erez

Son of Batya and Shmuel, was born on June 7, 1930 in Kfar Sava to a family of farmers from the Third Aliya. When he was two years old, he moved with his parents to Kfar Vitkin, where he grew up and studied at the local school. He was educated on the work, became a farmer and worked in his parents’ farm. Later he worked as a person responsible for various public works. Was involved in his company, and even at a young age his independence stood out. His character was something very attractive: hardness with softness marged. Erez enlisted in the Palmach and served as an officer in the Harel Brigade, where he was in Kiryat Anavim and took part in the battles at Sha’ar Hagai, and on May 16, 1948 he fell in an attack on the radar near Ma’ale Hahamisha. 5710 (17.11.1949) was brought to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
