Dadush, Shalom
Son of Benjamin and Esther. He was born on January 1, 1938 in Tobruk, Lithuania. At the outbreak of the Second World War and the abandonment of the difficult battles in Cyrenaica, the family went wandering. After the fighting, the family returned home but were taken to a concentration camp where the father died under the burden of suffering. After a year and a half, after the victory of the Allies in North Africa, the family was released and peace was given to study at a Hebrew primary school. He experienced hardships, wandering and suffering, and in 1950 he immigrated with his family to Israel. Here he found his happiness and the peace he desired. He belonged to HaNoar HaOved, studied in courses and worked – and was also an economic aid and spiritual encouragement to his family. He was drafted into the IDF in November 1955. On the 27th of Kislev 5717 (21.11.1956) he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the cemetery in Kfar Saba.
